Duty Managers are responsible for the day to day management of The Castle Cinema, ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
They open and close the building, run the cinema’s daily operations, lead the Front of House (FOH) and Supervisor team, ensure excellent customer service, and are accountable for areas of delegated responsibilities - assisting Senior Managers and Directors in a wide range of daily, weekly and ad-hoc tasks.

Reporting to: Senior Managers, Cinema Directors
Manager of: Front of House and Supervisors
Hours: In general 32-38 hrs/week, with minimum 24 hours/week. Including regular weekend and evening work.
Holiday entitlement: equivalent of 28 days per year (calculated pro rata)
Other benefits: complimentary tickets to screenings and events in the cinema, 50% discount on food and drink at the bar.
Contract: permanent, subject to a three month probationary period

Deadline for applications: midnight 28th July. There will be two interview stages, the first with the senior managers in early August and the second with the Cinema Directors in mid-August.
Start Date: Ideally be the end of August. There will be several training days scheduled as part of the on-boarding process.
