In honour of International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People this Saturday 29th November, join us for a special charity screening of Palestine’s official Oscar entry for 2026 'Palestine 36' followed by a Q&A with cast and filmmaking team, hosted by filmmaker Rachel Ramsay.

Annemarie Jacir's acclaimed historical drama, starring Karim Daoud Anaya, Hiam Abbass, Yasmine Al Massri, Robert Aramayo, Saleh Bakri, Billy Howle, Dhafer L’Abidine, Liam Cunningham and Jeremy Irons, centres on 1936 Mandatory Palestine, where a unified Palestinian uprising and rising Jewish immigration intensified conflict against British rule.

Having developing the film for half a decade, Annemarie Jacir and the filmmaking team were forced to relocate and rebuild the project in the wake of October 7th. The finished film, an international co-production between the U.K. and Palestine, both brings to life a largely forgotten part of our shared history and echoes the ongoing conflict we see today.
