Lamo Auru - Old Forest, New Lines is a tree climbing expedition documentary where British climbers, Waldo Etherington, Leo Houlding and Tom Winterton set out to make first ascents of giant Strangler Fig trees in Papua New Guinea’s remote and untouched Lamo Auru Caldera. The bonds the climbers make with their indigenous Nakanai guides reveal a deeper story of biodiversity, culture and an ancient rainforest under threat.
