Kevin Bacon is Jack Casey, a big time yuppie stock exchange wonder, who loses everything in a careless decision. His life in the fast lane is over... or is it? To make ends meet, he trades his three-piece suit and Porsche for a ten-speed and the streets.

Jack joins bike delivery company Quicksilver and soon discovers the freedom of riding through San Francisco. He learns new tricks and meets new friends, as well as some shady characters - soon becoming embroiled in the darker side of the city.

Somewhere between a crime film and 80s music video, this movie is full of Rocky-style montages, questionable dance sequences, and thrill-seeking chases.

At heart, it’s pure bike erotica, capturing the exhilaration and freedom of shifting gears, furious pedalling, dodging traffic and gliding through the city.
