What does it mean to be awake in a world that seems satisfied to be asleep? Kris and Michal push their experiences of life and love to a breaking point as they restlessly roam the Warsaw streets in search of answers, adrift in euphoria and uncertainty of finding their feet in the world.

Michal Marczak was awarded Best Director for Documentary at Sundance 2016, but All These Sleepless Nights defies easy categorisation. Filmed across a year and half, a breathless blend of observational and constructed scenes produce a prancing evocation of freedom, foolishness, and failure. With the hypnotic call of sunrise always a touch out of reach, All These Sleepless Nights captures the broad range of reflective and reactionary feelings of youth.
